Terms of Use and Safety Disclaimer
Please review the following before using Tezcatl.
1. Purpose of the service
Tezcatl is a general-purpose screen-mirroring tool that displays a mobile device’s screen on another display, such as a vehicle web browser.
Tezcatl is not provided for watching video, operating a device while driving, or engaging in any activity that violates applicable law. Its availability does not encourage, induce, or authorize such use.
You must review and comply with the laws and traffic regulations applicable where you use Tezcatl.
2. No operation or video viewing while driving
Do not operate Tezcatl, the connected mobile device, or the vehicle display while driving.
Viewing videos, streams, or other visual content unrelated to driving can distract the driver, cause serious accidents, and violate applicable law.
The technical ability to display particular content through Tezcatl does not mean that using that content while driving is legal or safe.
3. User responsibility
You are responsible for deciding when, why, and with what content you use Tezcatl.
Any use that violates applicable law, traffic regulations, or a third-party service’s terms is not directed or approved by the Tezcatl developer.
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for accidents, violations, fines, penalties, and civil or criminal consequences resulting from ignoring safety guidance or using Tezcatl unlawfully.
4. Content and third-party services
Tezcatl only transmits the connected mobile device’s screen; it does not create or provide the mirrored content.
The accuracy, legality, safety, and availability of information from navigation, maps, videos, websites, and other third-party apps or services are the responsibility of their respective providers.
You must comply with the terms of those services and applicable law when using mirrored content.
5. Road conditions and vehicle safety systems take priority
Tezcatl does not replace vehicle safety features, driver-assistance systems, navigation systems, traffic signals, or road signs.
Always give priority to actual road conditions, traffic signals, road signs, and applicable law while driving.
6. Limitations caused by external conditions
Tezcatl may depend on the mobile device, hotspot and network environment, vehicle web browser, and related software.
When mirroring is started, devices on the same local network can access the screen through the displayed address without separate user authentication. Use Tezcatl only on a trusted private network and stop mirroring when it is not needed.
Android or vehicle software updates, browser policy changes, network conditions, manufacturer restrictions, or other external factors may change or disrupt some features.
Tezcatl does not guarantee continued compatibility or uninterrupted operation in any particular vehicle or software environment.
7. Limitation of liability
Tezcatl provides a technical tool for screen mirroring.
The Tezcatl developer cannot control each user’s circumstances and, to the extent permitted by law, is not liable for consequences caused by a user violating these terms, safety guidance, or applicable law.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Agreement
I have reviewed all of the above and understand that Tezcatl does not encourage or induce unlawful use. I agree to comply with applicable laws and safety rules and understand that I am responsible for how I use Tezcatl and for the content I choose.
